Departures from runway 33 are only allowed in cases of necessity like:
Runway 15 is used with up to 7 knots of tailwind
Traffic patterns: West of the AD (15 Right, 33 Left).
LIRA Tower applies the following separation to departures, according to the ICP:
A departing aircraft must not be cleared for takeoff if an arriving aircraft has passed the 4 NM gate
Departures are handed off based on the runway in use in LIRF, according to the following scheme:
In case RWY 34L/R are in use in LIRF, make sure to use the .lirf34 alias to ensure correct SIDs assignments as explained here.
*In case of sector merge the following priority shall be applied: US2 -> TS1 -> NE1
All departures from runway 33 when runway 15 is in use for arrivals are held for release by TNR

The minimum spacing applied by Roma Arrivals on final is 8 NM, which can be reduced to 5 after coordination with Tower.
