Olbia Tower is responsible for RWY 05/23, all taxiways beyond their RHPs, all the traffic within Olbia ATZ and CTR. The upper limit of these airspaces is 1500ft. Olbia CTR is surrounded by Sardegna CTA; to the north below 2500ft the airspace is class G. To the west, south and east, the airspace is class G below 1500ft.
Runway 05 is preferential with up to 10kt of tailwind component.
Radar service is available in LIEO.
Handoffs to the next controller as soon as practicable, departures are handed off to Roma Radar 125.950.
Separation between two consecutive departing ACFT is 5NM or WTC separation, whichever is greater.
A traffic lined up on the runway must commence takeoff roll before the arriving traffic passes the 4NM gate from threshold.
Arriving traffic will be separated by Roma ACC as specified below.

Olbia TWR may request Roma ACC to increase spacing between arrivals if needed due to any possible reason.
Spacing as specified above can be reduced to 5NM by Roma ACC after coordination and approval from Olbia TWR according to the current traffic situation.
In case of a go around, Roma Radar shall be notified immediately and traffic handed over with the appropriate MISAP tag.
After a missed approach, all departures are HELD FOR RELEASE from Roma ACC.
Preferred traffic pattern is the one to the south of the field.

Departing VFR traffic shall leave the CTR via one of the exit points specified above at maximum 2000 ft.
Arriving VFR traffic shall enter the CTR via one of the entry points specified above at maximum 2000 ft.
Night VFR is allowed only to helicopters.
Takeoff/landing operations on helipad allowed only to HEMS. All other helicopter takeoff/landing operations are allowed on RWY05/23 only.
