¶ Lamezia Tower
Lamezia Tower is responsible for the delivery of ATC clearances, all aprons and taxiways, RWY 28/10, and Lamezia ATZ.
¶ Clearance Delivery
ALV: Initial climb in Lamezia is 5000ft for all SIDs.
PDC: not available in Lamezia.
SIDs and ALV will be correctly assigned by vSID
¶ Runway Usage
Preferential runway is RWY28. RWY10 may be requested by pilots in low traffic situations.

¶ IFR Flights
Radar service is available in LICA.
¶ IFR Departures
- Handoffs to the next controller as soon as practicable.
- Separation between two consecutive departing ACFT is as follows. In case WTC separation is greater, WTC separation shall be used.

A traffic lined up on the runway must commence takeoff roll before the arriving traffic passes the 6NM gate from threshold.
¶ IFR Arrivals
Arriving traffic will be separated by Roma ACC as specified below.

Spacing as specified above can be reduced to 6NM by Roma ACC after coordination and approval from Lamezia TWR according to the current traffic situation.
In case of a circling approach, maximum 1 aircraft at a time is allowed to perform the approach procedure.
In case of a visual approach, traffic shall be instructed to follow the standard missed approach procedure annexed to the ILS X 28 procedure or RNP 10 procedure.
¶ Missed Approach
In case of a go around, Roma Radar shall be notified immediately and traffic handed over with the MISAP tag.
After a missed approach, all departures are HELD FOR RELEASE.
¶ VFR Flights
Standard traffic pattern in Lamezia is the one to the south of the airport.
ATZ entry and exit points are as follows:

¶ VFR Departures
- Departures via NW2 and S2 below 2000ft shall be handed over to Roma Information, above 2000ft to Roma Radar.
- Departures via N1 shall be handed over to Roma Radar.
¶ VFR Arrivals
Lamezia TWR shall direct aircraft to:
- S1 in case of arrival from the south
- NW1 in case of arrival from the north / west
- Traffic arriving from N1 may be instructed to directly join final or orbit on N1 depending on the traffic situation.
From these VRPs the aircraft shall then be instructed to join the traffic pattern.
¶ Night VFR
NVFR flights in Lamezia are authorized only with minimum 8km visibility and ceiling not below 1500ft.
